I love how the speech-challenged (mute) converse with each other because they use their hearts and eyes and minds to understand themselves -- much deeper feeling, so true. Unlike those who are blessed with a tongue that speaks of words of beauty and vile, it lacks the soul behind the words and the touch of warmth and truth. Rather, it lurks with it doubts and absence of genuineness. ~feminista~
Of booze and sobriety; hysterical consequence of day to day life; and the exaggerated portrayal of the spartan living.

There are those things which give meaning to your life even the minute details -- may be things or those that aren't. They are like puzzles that solve a mystery which stem to another mystery which lead you to uncover something unknown of yourself in a pandora's box. These are those people whom we call as the privileged ones -- family, friends and loved ones. These are those little things we share with them. These are those intangibles like smile, love and warmth. I thought life is miserable not until I realize it is more of a bliss. ~feminista~

Don't you realize that for every heart breaks, it is not entirely attributable to that one person for causing the pain but it is also because you cannot accept that something has to change from that time on. ~feminista~
My Featured Quote #1
When you are trying to heal the pain, it's never healthy to use someone as a rebound. It's just like concealing a deep cut through a bandage, it does help you heal but you will eventually throw it away because it's no longer useful. ~feminista~
A Classic Example.
I was on a PUJ earlier on my way to Ayala when the jeep that I was riding was halted by a LTO officer for inspection (I believe) at UP Cebu. When the PUJ was about to stop, a kid attempted to hang on the rear of the vehicle and the driver's license was confiscated for such offense, without further explanation. We were too puzzled for that incident, we, I mean the rest of the passengers, that is. We were speaking up to these said officers that the kid was just about to ride as the driver was about to park on the side. But as deaf as they were, they were acting as if no one's around. The funny thing is that, half of them were eating ice cream (famously referred to as flavor of the road) while the others are just as busy and pre-occupied. (Maybe, that's why they weren't listening because they were too bothered thinking when they could get their share of the ice cream.) The wife of the driver tried to explain what happened and she was as if talking to a big wooden man, lifeless and who doesn't care. It took us more than 15 minutes of waiting and complaining how it was very unfair and unjustified.
I was filled with so much wrath and rage on the way they treat citizens who were faithfully and religiously doing their job even how tiresome and very humble that would be. I admire how the driver acted so calmly and patiently with the situation despite how hateful the occurrence would be for a man. It's just too upsetting for the public to compulsorily surrender their trust to these abusive officials. This may be a simple incident but then big things come from simple and little things. We do respect how you are assumed of regularity in your dealings but at least we also ask from you the same respect. This is without prejudice to those who are admirable and honest officers though. This is just a frustrating and disapointing at that. I might say, one of the worst incidents, I've had.
