It's quite delayed already to talk about what happened during the weekend but anyhoo, I will still talk about it whether you like it or not. But before I start, I would like to give you a brief overview of what I am up to and what's going on with my life. Let's not delve into details though.
But the entire trip will never be complete without a long trip cuts from Barili to Carcar, Carcar to Tabunok stayed for a while to eat then walk to the place where we can ride a PUJ going to Mandaue. And of course, a bruise on the knee won't hurt.
Anyway, I am a law student trying to muster the life of a working student and a life outside law school. Well, I am not really fully resolved yet to surrender my life into such an addiction, I might as well call it, because I don't want to regret later being outdated about the new innovations of the current life. I mean, not only about what's the new gadget or what's the latest buzz in showbiz but I don't want to gasp for memories to fill in during these darker days. Though I am certainly open to the possibilities of losing my life along the way considering how terrorizing it was during the previous semester. No regrets though. I always love what I do and this is happiness for me, the pressures you will miss during school breaks but feared during regular school days or the reading assignments that were too many, a working student can't possibly finish. However, despite all of those, I still smile, laugh and overcome obstacles like a warrior. What's being a law student after all? And because we were too busy almost the whole year round, we had to tuck in what little time we have to chill and relax for the next classes starts.
I was not really so enthusiastic about what to do during the weekends and did not actively participate about any discussions, just going with the flow. I was expecting to just goof around with myself, pretending to get busy and have some 'me' time on weekend. And for 'me' time I mean just staring at the ceiling, doing nothing the whole day. Hahaha! Seriously, perhaps do the laundry or just waste time in front of the computer. The usual lazy day! I kinda have problems lately dealing with myself because I already find myself boring and almost anti-social. At least not as socialized as I was before. Oh, boy, look at what books, cups of coffee and law school has made out of me! Well, at least, not worse than being a zombie, thank God!
So there, I did not plan on going out on that weekend because the moody side of me is acting up (refer to the explanation on the previous paragraph), or maybe because I was too bugged about my performance on the previous semester and I just want to bury myself in sorrow while the grades are not yet out, or just because, for no reason at all. October was just too exaggerated to be in festive mood.
But heaven and earth collided and I said yes to a trip down south of Cebu, Barili. Lutche and her family was too hospitable to refuse such an offer. Though I was about two hours late from the agreed time, there's no backing out. Special shoutout to Joan and Fidel for wasting my phones' battery lives for calling me a dozen of times just to wake me up. With heavy feet, I had to drag myself out of my bed to be there at the bus terminal with puffy eyes. Muchos gracias!
Day 1. Freeloaders we came! It was just too tempting for an escapade to release bad vibes. Truth be told, we went there to sing all we want over free karaoke, living the simple rural life, eating free meals and sleep, sleep, sleep (I am speaking on behalf of myself) and just staying calm and relaxed. We were fairly accommodated and provided with what we need. A place to be! Though, I must confess that I was really not in the best mood that day due to less sleep and was too tired for the long bus ride plus to add my luck, my spectacles were hurt badly and we had to part ways until recovery. )':
Day 2. I think I am getting used to backpacking which I think is an indicator of being open-minded about the adventurous kind of life, my preliminaries, at the very least.
No plans. Just randomly decided to go to Mantayupan Falls and have pizza at Gustoso. We packed up early and by early means we had to wait until our tour guide is ready after a hungover. I mean to keep the name anonymous. LOL!

We had to ride a public motorcycle going to Mantayupan Falls, paid for the entrance and was awed with the scenic view for about an hour or so. Took pictures and headed to Gustoso to fill our stomachs. After some chit-chats, we are all ready to go back to the real world.
But the entire trip will never be complete without a long trip cuts from Barili to Carcar, Carcar to Tabunok stayed for a while to eat then walk to the place where we can ride a PUJ going to Mandaue. And of course, a bruise on the knee won't hurt.
To sum up, a fulfilling day!
